I enjoy holiday parties because calories don't seem to count as much, for starters. Also, it's fun to catch up with friends I might not have seen in a while. It's quite enjoyable to meet new people. Sometimes, too, I hear about troubles others might be facing. It makes me realize that whatever problems I think I have, there are always others facing tougher issues. It helps put things into perspective, I suppose.
